Healthwatch England is the independent champion for people who use health and social care services.
Every year our nationwide network speaks to hundreds of thousands of people about their experiences of hospitals, GPs and care services. Using this unique evidence base, we work with the government and those running services to shape health and care support around the needs of people.
Let us tell you a little bit about the role...
We are looking for an excellent Senior Policy Analyst to help turn the evidence we gather from communities up and down the country into powerful policy insights that can drive improvement across the health and social care sector.
As one of a team of two Senior Analysts, you’ll play a central role developing Healthwatch England’s position on key policy issues. This could see you working on a huge range of policy issues, from helping people plan for their future social care needs, to researching how people think the NHS should use artificial intelligence to improve care. You will also work with the wider Policy and Public Affairs team to make sure our insight reaches key decision makers at a national, regional and local level.
What we're looking for from you...
You’ll need a strong track record for understanding and influencing policy developments, excellent communications skills and be adept at managing multiple priorities.
You’ll also have experience of working under pressure, working well within a team and building and maintaining strong working relationships.
If you're interested and think this is the perfect job for you, apply today!
