About the role
Take this crucial role within our Strategy and Intelligence Directorate and your work will inform inspections to ensure we can all receive better health and social care. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and updating programs to support our information and analysis activities. You will provide leadership, coaching and support to Analyst Programmers. We’ll also look to you to assess the potential of new and existing datasets in relation to our information strategy.
Ready to make a difference, you will be keen to apply your significant experience of large, patient-level datasets such as Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) and Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS). You’ll have gained this knowledge working in an information or programming role within the NHS, social care or relevant organisation. You’ll add to this an experience in SQL programming together with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access. Your excellent communication, programming and analytical skills with an ability to translate data into useful information will make you stand out from the crowd.
