About the role
The Care Quality Commission is looking for an exceptional Media Manager with significant national media experience to lead on high-profile stories, provide expert communications advice and manage the day-to-day work of our very busy press office, including line-management of four Senior Media Officers. Reporting to the Head of Media, you’ll need to operate strategically, act decisively and demonstrate excellent judgement in a fast-moving environment - and at a time when health and social care has never been more newsworthy.
