About the role
User research is essential to our plans to design and deliver better services for our public, provider and stakeholder audiences. The findings from this work helps us deliver these services at lower cost and risk and to continuously improve services, based on data and evidence.
In this role, you will lead our user research activities across our digital projects. You will ensure that teams take a user-centred, evidence-based approach to service design and delivery. You will develop our user research capability and assure we use best practice.
A highly experienced user researcher, you’re comfortable working on agile projects and across different teams. You’re an effective leader and a passionate champion for user needs and inclusive practices
You’re able to advise on and deliver a range of user research methods and present and share the findings effectively, including to senior staff.
Experience of working within user research roles within government services and understanding of digital technologies are desirable
