About the role
You’ll assist the Workplace and Facilities Manager with day-to-day running of the facilities function and with the development and improvement of health and safety procedures. You’ll line manage the Workplace and Facilities Manager and supervise the Facilities Help Desk and ensure that calls are logged, staff are kept informed and actions are carried out in line with service level agreements. You’ll also manage the day-to-day operation of external maintenance, cleaning, catering contractors and Workplace and Facilities Manager. You’ll participate in the co-ordination of internal move projects and identify the risks and hazards faced by CQC staff, you’ll carry out and record assessments and implement control arrangements.
You’ll have proven experience of day-to-day supervision of buildings and facilities and managing third party providers. You’ll be confident in managing small budgets and the helpdesk operation. Your strong communication and relationship building skills mean you can quickly build effective relationships which will help in your experience of managing third party providers and the helpdesk operation.
