Let us tell you a little bit about the role...

Specialist Advisors (SpAs) are senior clinicians or managers who generally take time out of their professional permanent role to assist on inspections of health and adult social care providers on a flexible and ad-hoc basis. When invited to do so, SpAs form part of the inspection team to provide specialist advice, which helps to ensure that CQC’s judgements are informed by up-to-date and credible clinical and professional knowledge and experience.

What we're looking for from you...

We're looking for profressional individuals with up-to-date and credible clinical and/or professional knowledge and experience which will help you evaluate and analyse evidence and information.

You will work with a vibrant team, enjoying a varied and challenging remit as you inspect and regulate services to make sure they are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well led. 

Ideally, who are skilled communicators, with the ability to engage with staff, service users and stakeholders at every level, demonstrating a transparent approach and interpreting complex information.
