About the Role

Our ‘Shaping the Future’ strategy sets out our vision of a more targeted, responsive, and collaborative way to regulate. To support this ambition, we are creating a new team in CQC.

The Performance, Change and Improvement team will change the way CQC use information to plan and improve. It includes a small and busy Economics team that get involved in interesting and impactful work for CQC. 

We are looking to recruit an Economics Practice Manager to join the existing Economics team. The post holder will be situated in the Performance Team and work closely with our Policy and Evaluation Teams on understanding the impact of our regulation. We are interested in attracting an Economist who can work well with others but equally independently to progress projects. The role will line manage one other Economist and have access to some analytical support from within the wider team.

We are flexible about location and home working is an option but there will be frequent travel to London and other CQC locations. We are open to the role being part of a secondment and would be interested in applications for a secondment of up to 2 years (please make this clear in your application).
