About the role
This post holder will provide specialist systems development support to achieve an increased delivery of learning via e-learning and other technology.
More specifically you will produce effective and efficient learning solutions while administering and developing our learning management system. You will evaluate individual learner impact of learning solutions and provide accurate management information in order to support evaluation, mitigate against risk and take appropriate decisions to modify and improve learning solutions.
In order to produce effective and efficient learning solutions you will work with Academy colleagues & Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify relevant content for learning solutions.
Using a range of learning methods and technologies you will produce blended solutions that meet learning outcomes and objectives, including authoring e-learning products and designing webpages.
You will be responsible for the administration of our Learning Management System, and as such will perform regular system maintenance and content management tasks. You will also be able to facilitate the resolution of technical issues and work with technical specialists to develop the system.
The role also involves travel throughout the UK and may involve overnight stays.
You should possess knowledge of learning theories and the learning technologies market with experience in designing blended learning solutions and instructional design using a range of approaches.
We are looking for someone with experience in e-learning authoring using a range of tools as well as experience in designing web pages, and face-to-face workshop facilitation.
The successful candidate must have experience of Career or Learning Management System administration and be able to analyse, interpret, present and act upon data
You should have the ability to manage projects and problem-solve with creativity and also possess excellent communication skills both oral and written.
A track record of success in delivering customer focussed learning products is essential to the role.
