About the role
You will lead on procurement and supply chain management across CQC with a specific focus on technology categories, driving up standards, delivering value for money and providing commercial assurance. It’s a chance to use your expert knowledge of commercial practices to establish innovative procurement practices, manage effective procurement projects and undertake procurements in line with the overarching category strategy and compliance. We’ll also look to you to ensure that organisational leads complete the necessary internal and external approvals before the contract is awarded.
MCIPS qualified or equivalent, you will have a proven track record in procurement, including delivering the full end-to-end procurement cycle for a range of categories and running full EU procurement tendering exercises. A confident communicator with a flair for relationship building and stakeholder management, you will be skilled in analysing and managing supplier performance. Excellent IT skills, including using Microsoft Office, will be essential as well as sound working knowledge of procurement and contract management practices.
