About the role

As a Billing Enquiries Co-ordinator you will be a key member of the Billing Enquiries Team that is responsible for invoicing annual fees to registered providers and working with NHS SBS in the collection of the amounts due.

The successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities including supporting the Billing Manager in the regular review of the receivables ledger, applying knowledge of the fees scheme to calculate fees and resolve disputes. You will also be expected to verify credits and refunds due to registered providers, providing advice on the fees scheme and other policies as needed.

You will have good administrative and organisational skills which will be demonstrated through the management of mailboxes, monitoring of financial records and maintaining records in accordance with information security procedures while providing excellent customer service.

Using strong verbal and written communication skills you will liaise with internal and external customers in a professional manner to resolve issues of non-compliance with financial policies and procedures, escalating sensitive issues as required and you will undertake any other duties that may be required of you.

About you

You should be organised with good administrative skills, strong problem solving and decision making skills as well as the ability to communicate professional both verbally and in a written format

You will have appropriate work based experience and be competent in IT packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word you should also be able to adapt to changing technologies and working practices.

In addition to the above the person we are looking for should be able to demonstrate experience of working both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
