About the role

We are looking for someone to be a key member of our Data Reporting and Warehouse team following our new and exciting Digital transformation.

As an Analyst at the CQC you will be an OBIEE Front End developer providing an ongoing provision of critical data reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage and interrogate information and data using a variety of analysis techniques.  Using your knowledge of analysis you will select the most appropriate analysis tool and the most pertinent data and from this summarise key findings in order to meet the needs of the CQC.

You will be able to present and explain the results of the analysis you carry out in a way that suits all levels of internal and external audiences and you should be able to use multiple media and output styles to deliver this.

In addition you will identify opportunities for improvement in the development of systems and methodology in response to new developments in data and strategy

About you

You will have a high level of educational attainment such as a good first degree or equivalent experience.

Experience of interpreting and presenting data sets to a range of audiences is essential as well as excellent communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to report on complex issues.

You should be analytical with experience of working with consistent analytic frameworks and analysing quantitative and qualitative information along with an understanding of how data is used in a risk based regulatory model

In addition to the above you must have the ability to engage well with colleagues and other stakeholders.
