* Planning, analysing and delivering
– how your skills can make a difference to Adult Social Care? *
About the Role
Use your operational management experience to make a difference in adult social care, reporting on how well services meet requirements to be safe, effective, responsive, caring and well led. Managing your own portfolio of providers, you will plan and carry out a risk-based inspection programme, ensuring records are regularly updated and that there is a clear audit trail. This includes assessing and analysing information from a variety of channels, such as service users and safeguarding experts, as well as visiting services in person. Where problems are encountered, you will take enforcement action, escalating complex cases as necessary. Working from a home base, you will have plenty of autonomy, but with the support and expert input of a wider team.
Your background in health or social care will have fuelled a passion for making a difference in Adult Social Care. This will be matched by well-honed operational skills and experience of working in a regulatory, risk-focused environment. A confident decision-maker, you will understand the importance of analytical information and risk-based methodologies. You will be ready to make the case for action based on robust evidence and will have strong communication and team-working skills, including the ability to build sound working relationships with people at all levels. You will be proficient and experienced in the use of IT equipment, with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office packages and experience of using CRM software to work efficiently from home and while on inspection.
* Please note, although the role is home based, there will be a requirement to travel regularly within the South East area *
In order to be eligible to apply for one of these secondment opportunities you must currently be employed by the NHS, an ALB or other public sector organisation. Please also ensure you obtain the permission of your line manager before applying.
